I have had the pleasure of being part of Blythe Dental Center team for 28 years, 17 of which have been with Dr. Gilbert Amthor! I love my job! I have worked as both a Dental Assistant and the Office Manager. I really enjoy being a patient advocate. There’s nothing like the satisfied look on a patient’s face when they’ve navigated the sometimes-confusing world of insurance/financing to come out the other end with an even bigger, better smile. I always try to calm fears, answer questions and help make treatment possible. Another very important part of my life is my family! I cannot spend enough time with my little family. They brighten my day and make my heart smile!

I have worked at Blythe Dental Center for 20 years, but I began working in the medical field first. Working for Blythe Dental Center has been a blessing. I oversee the front office, and I love what I do. I enjoy being part of a professional dental team that provides exceptional dental care.
Brooke – Hygiene Coordinator, Orthodontic Assistant
I’ve had the pleasure of working at Blythe Dental Center for the last 7 years. Currently I work in the front office as the Hygiene Coordinator, as well as the Orthodontic Assistant. One of the things I enjoy about working in dentistry is showing our patients the final outcome of our treatment and seeing how much confidence and joy it brings them! I was born and raised in Blythe. I have two small dogs named Rosco and BabyGirl that I love very much! I enjoy spending my free time with my friends and family, and soaking up the sun at the river!
Gloria – Hygienist
Hi, I’m Gloria Ruvalcaba and I have been a Registered Dental Hygienist since May 2011. I attended Dental Hygiene school at San Joaquin Valley College in Visalia, CA. When I completed the Dental Hygiene program I returned to Blythe, CA since that is where most of my family lives and it is also the little town where I was born and raised. Prior to pursuing a career in the dental field, I was a pharmacy tech, and I still hold a current Pharmacy Technician license. I really enjoy working and being part of the dental field and helping patients achieve and maintain good oral health so that it also helps to improve their overall health. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, scrap booking and traveling with my husband.
Jennifer – Hygienist
Hi, I’m Jennifer Rios, one of the Dental Hygienists at Blythe Dental Center. I began my dental career in 1990 as a Dental Assistant. I later decided to further my education and became a Dental Hygienist in 1997. I have worked here at Blythe Dental Center for over 10 years. I love my job, it is very gratifying helping people and seeing them happy with their smile. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.
Adrianna – Dental Assistant
Hi, my name is Adrianna. I began my journey into dentistry in 2015 when I attended the dental program at Kaplan College. While there I realized how fun the dental field is and couldn’t wait to gain experience in an actual office. In early 2016, I had the pleasure of joining the staff at Blythe Dental Center. I love my job! I love being so hands on and interacting with patients on a daily basis. Given the chance to help patients obtain their ideal smile and healthy mouth brings me great happiness. I’m currently working on obtaining my Registered Dental Assistant license and plan to have it by the end of 2017.
Miriam – Dental Assistant
Hello, my name is Miriam Jauregui. I am a very outgoing family oriented person. I have a passion for the dental field. It is a career field that I have always wanted to pursue and grow in. I enrolled in an 8-month dental assisting class at Brightwood College in Palm Springs. Being born and raised in Blythe, I decided to start my internship at Blythe Dental Center and they hired me as a Dental Assistant as soon as I had completed my hours. I chose this career field to help others have a great, clean and healthy set of teeth and smile. My favorite part of the day about working in this office is seeing my patients leave happy.
